Colorado narrows Washington’s lead in the series to 21-17. The Buffaloes snap a seven-game skid in Seattle and overall winning for just the third time in 17 tries. Colorado has won the last three against UW, sweeping the home-and-home for the first time.
Colorado’s 98 points ties for the most in a road conference game in the Pac-12 era, matching a 98-94 triple overtime win at USC on Jan. 29, 2015. The 98 points were the most road points overall in a regulation games since the Buffaloes defeated American University of Puerto Rico 101-56 on Nov. 28, 1998
Colorado had five players score in double-figures for the 10th time this season (10-0 in those games), currently the second-most in the nation (Arizona – 11).
Colorado shot 54.1 percent from the field, marking the 12th time this season shooting at least 50 percent, the most since the Buffaloes shot 50 percent 15 times during the 2009-10 season (31 games). J’Vonne Hadley (24 points, 8-10 FG, 7-8 FT) career-high in points and first 20-point effort (previous high was 19 at Arizona State). Matched personal bests in field goals and free throws made. Connected on his only 3-point attempt and as now made 8 of 13 from long range over his last eight games.
KJ Simpson (16 points, 8 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals) tied his season-high in assists and moved into 15th in career assists at 286, passing Chauncey Billups who had 282 from 1995-97.
Eddie Lampkin Jr. (14 points, 10 rebounds) secured his sixth double-double of the season and 12th of his career.
Tristan da Silva (10 points, 4-9 FG) moved into 27th in career scoring with 1,176, passing current Orlando Magic head coach Jamahl Mosely who had 1,171 from 1997-01.
