2025 Big 12 Lacrosse Championship Credentials

BOULDER – Media credential requests are now open for the Inaugural Big 12 Lacrosse Championship taking place on May 1 and 3 at Prentup Field in Boulder, Colo. Media representatives are encouraged to submit their requests by Monday, April 28, at 5 p.m. MT via email. Please email Assistant Director of Athletic Communication, Malala Pyle, at malala.pyle@colorado.edu to request credentials.
 
WHAT: The Inaugural Big 12 Lacrosse Championship, consisting of two semifinals and one championship game. The top four Big 12 teams will go head-to-head (1v4, 2v3) to name a conference champion who will receive an automatic NCAA tournament berth. Coaches and select players will be made available for the media following each of the three games upon request.
 
WHO: The top four Big 12 teams following the conclusion of the Big 12 Lacrosse regular season. Four of the following six teams will advance to the postseason championship: Arizona State, Cincinnati, Colorado, Florida, San Diego State, UC Davis.

WHERE: Prentup Field, Boulder, Colo.

WHY: The Big 12 will crown its first-ever Lacrosse Champion in the Conference’s first year of having the sport. As the sport of lacrosse continues to grow and spread across the country, the introduction of this sport in this conference contributes to the collegiate lacrosse legacy as a whole. Covering this event means being a part of lacrosse history.
 
MEDIA CREDENTIALS:

  • Media representatives must submit their requests by Monday, April 28, at 5 p.m. MT via email. Please email Assistant Director of Athletic Communication, Malala Pyle, at malala.pyle@colorado.edu to request credentials.
  • Please review the Big 12 and University of Colorado media policies prior to submitting your request.
  • In your request, please specify the name and email of the credentialed individual, the number of credentials you will need (photo, video, reporter) and which game(s) you would like them credentialed for.
  • Media credentials are limited to media outlets, athletic department staff and conference staff.
