It’s time to run it back again. With the success coming back to Boulder last year, we will again host the 56th Annual University of Colorado Ski Ball is scheduled for Friday, October 2, and will again take place at the amazing Limelight Hotel adjacent to campus on the corner of Broadway and University.
Please join us to celebrate the ski team and its alumni at the best party in Boulder, once again including dinner, dancing and an exclusive Silent Auction showcasing our outstanding partnerships across the ski community at the best new spot in Boulder.
College athletics is changing by the month and with eligibility rules, the continued development of Name, Image and Likeness and entering year two with revenue sharing, we need your help more than ever to help attract the best young skiers to Boulder and continue to provide them with the resources needed to compete for and win championships.
In recent years, we have made huge strides in upgrading our training facilities including a state-of-the-art Nordic treadmill and a modern dedicated fueling station for ski athletes.
Last year we were able to upgrade our space on east campus that houses our Nordic Treadmill in order to fully utilize its use for all of our ski student-athletes, including new flooring, additional training equipment and some much-needed decor to make it one of the top ski training facilities in the country, if not the world.
- Net proceeds from this benefit will go towards the Ski Team Excellence Fund at the University of Colorado Foundation (Tax ID number-84-6049811). FMV of Meals and gifts equals $100 per person. Contributions less the Fair Market Value (FMV) may be tax-deductible. Please consult your tax advisor.
- We welcome payments/sponsorships from individuals and corporations. In light of IRS clarifications of charitable donation rules, the University and the CU Foundation cannot accept payments/sponsorships from a donor advised fund, related private foundation or a qualified charitable distribution from a donor’s IRA (QCD), unless the sponsor waives all benefits from the sponsorship, including attendance at the sponsored event.
