2027 RECRUITMENT VIDEO SUBMISSION INFORMATION
Welcome, and thank you for your interest in the CU Boulder Dance Program!
Please read the information below to it's entirety before moving on to complete your registration. Make sure to follow ALL guidelines in order to have your video submission reviewed and considered. If you have not done so already, please apply to the University.
Acceptance into CU Boulder is required in order to receive an offer.
RECRUITMENT TIMELINE
December 7, 2026 | Deadline for dancers in the class of 2027 to register and submit videos.
*Registration and video submission closes at 11:59pm on December 7, 2026.
December 15, 2026 | Semi Finalist email communication will go out.
Athletes will receive one of two emails.
- Athlete is still being considered for the 2027 - 2028 Dance Team
- Athlete is no longer being considered for the 2027 - 2028 Dance Team
January 24, 2027 | Finalist email communication will be sent out.
Athletes will receive one of two emails.
- Athlete is still being considered for the 2027 - 2028 Dance Team
- Athlete is no longer being considered for the 2027 - 2028 Dance Team

- Advanced turn combo with changing spots and floats
- Toe touch
- Turning disk
- Switch tilt
- Switch arabesque
- Aerial (right and left)
- Tilt extension
- Whip flip
- Center leap (both sides)
- Butterfly
- Back handspring
- 540
- :30 minimum jazz combo with strong movement quality
- :30 minimum Pom combo with strong motions
- :30 minimum hip hop combo
- Solo highlighting individual strengths
* Speak clearly and confidently
* Label each section correctly
* Use the best point of view so the judges can clearly see you
* Videos received past the deadline will not be viewed or evaluated
- We look for well-rounded individuals who are able to conduct themselves professionally and have strong academic success!
- Communication is highly valued here at CU. Get in contact with our staff and current team members to share your interest about our program.
- It is HIGHLY recommended to attend a clinic so we can meet you in person and see you work with current members of our program.
- Admission into CU Boulder is required before receiving an offer. It is crucial to keep the coaching staff updated on your admission status.
