2018: Indoor: Rigsby competed in the long jump and triple jump during his first season with the Buffs. His best mark in the long jump was recorded at the Colorado School of Mines Alumni Classic in December where he earned third place with a distance of 24-0.25/7.32. At this same meet, he recorded his best mark in the triple jump with a mark of 48-0/14.63.
Outdoor: Rigsby focused on the long jump and triple jump in his outdoor season as well. His best marks were both earned at the Cardinal Classic in April. He recorded a distance of 23-09.5/7.25 in the long jump and placed second. In the triple jump his distance was 48-03.5/14.72, earning him third place

HIGH SCHOOL: Rigsby was a three-time first team all-conference in track and first team all-state honoree his senior year. As a senior, he won the Colorado 5A State Championship in the long jump with a leap of 22-10.50. He owns records at two schools. Rigsby attended Grand Valley High School until his senior year and left with records in the triple jump (44-7) and high jump (6-3). In one season at FMHS, Rigsby set the triple (49-0.5) and long jump (23-4.50) records.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Rigsby is an open option major.

PERSONAL: Gunner Rigsby was born on Aug. 28, 1998 in Grand Junction, Colo. He is the son of Brock and Mindy Rigsby and has three younger sisters. He played basketball in high school where he was a two-time first team all-conference and enjoys playing video games.
