2021: Nichols led Colorado in four of its five varsity races, winning two of those. She won the NCAA Pre-National Invitational on October 15 and followed it up with a win at the Pac-12 Championship, becoming the second female Buff to win the prestigious title. With the conference win, she helped the Buffaloes win the team title as they defeated the runner-up, Utah, 24-52. Nichols placed third at regionals and was eighth at the NCAA Championships, earning her second consecutive All-America honor. Colorado finished fourth as a team. 

During the season she was named the USTFCCCA Female Athlete of the Week (after winning the Pac-12 title) and she was honored by the Pac-12 as the Pac-12 Women's Athlete of the Year. She was also named to the Pac-12 First Team and was an all-region honoree. 

2020: Raced in four meets, leading CU in two during the season … debuted at the FSU Winter Classic, finishing 24th as the fifth scorer … led the Buffs at the Battle Born Collegiate Challenge with an eighth-place performance … finished eighth again at the Pac-12 Championship, this time as CU’s No. 2 runner, which earned her All-Pac-12 Second Team honors and helped the team to a second place finish … was the top Buff at NCAAs and earned All-America honors with her 18th-place finish. 
 
AT OHIO STATE: OSU record holder in the indoor and outdoor 5,000-meter runs, as well as the DMR ... became the first Buckeye to win the conference outdoor 5k in 2019 ... won in 15:56.52, which was a school record ... during the indoor season, she placed fourth at the 2019 Big Ten Championships, clocking in at 16:21.78 ... in cross country, she led OSU at the 2019 NCAA Championship, finishing 41st overall as the team placed 23rd ... was ninth at the 2019 Great Lake Regional after a fifth-place finish at Big Ten’s.
 
HIGH SCHOOL: Won the 2015 OHSAA Division II State Cross Country Championship with a 5k time of 18:05.4 while at Archbishop Alter High School ... was four-time state champion on the track ... as a senior she won the 1,600 and 3,200-meter runs at the OHSAA Division II State Championship ... won gold in the 4x800-meter relay in back-to-back years as a sophomore and junior at the OHSAA Division II State Championship ... was the runner-up at state in the 1,600 as a junior.
 
HIGH SCHOOL BESTS: 800-meters: 2:15; 1,600-meters: 4:53; 3,200-meters: 10:48.
 
IN THE CLASSROOM: Pursuing a master’s degree in organizational leadership … has a 4.00 GPA ... was named to the 2020 USTFCCCA All-Academic Team … earned her bachelor’s degree in speech, language and hearing sciences at Ohio State in the spring of 2020.
