Givens continued his upward trajectory in 2025, notching three new personal bests across the 5K, 8K, and 10K distances. Givens continuines to thrive under the tutelage of Head Coach Sean Carlson

Opened the year with a commanding win at the Wyoming Invite, clocking 15:02.0 in the 5K.
Later delivered a standout performance at the Gans Creek Classic, running a personal-best 8K time of 23:01.9 for 15th place.
Capped off the season by finishing 88th at the NCAA Championships, clocking a 10K personal best of 29:31.5.

2024

Placed 30th at the Nuttycombe Invitational (8k – 23:59.9).
Finished 114th at the Wisconsin Pre-Nationals (8k – 24:01.2).
Set a personal best at the Big 12 Conference Championship, placing 27th (8k – 23:20.1).
Ran a personal best at the NCAA Mountain Region Championships, finishing 17th (10k – 29:41.1).
