2011: Indoor: Did not compete.

Outdoor: Tremblay ran the 1,500 twice during the season. She started out by clocking a time of 4:37.19 at the CU Invite (4/9), which was fifth. Tremblay raced to a season best a week later at the Mt. SAC Relays (4/15). This time she finished in 4:29.52.

2010: Indoor: Tremblay competed in just one meet during the indoor season. She clocked the third best time ever by a CU freshman when she crossed the finish in 9:25.73 at the UW Invite (1/30). She was sixth overall. The time was also the 21st best time by a Buff and made her the eighth fastest performer in CU history.

Outdoor: Did not compete.

CROSS COUNTRY: (2011) Redshirt. Did not compete. (2010) Tremblay moved into a leadership role quickly for CU, leading the Buffs in every varsity race as a sophomore. She won the Rocky Mountain Shootout with the 10-fastest time in course history (20:29) and out-sprinted teammate Emma Coburn by just one second. She was named the CU Athlete of the Week as well as the Big 12 Runner of the Week for her performance. Tremblay once again earned Big 12 Runner of the Week honors after recording a second place finish at pre-nats. Two weeks later she earned her second All-Big 12 honor after racing to a fourth-place finish at the final Big 12 meet. Tremblay earned CU Athlete of the Week and all-region honors after finishing third at the NCAA Mountain Region Championship. Tremblay topped off the season with her first All-American honor when she took 23rd overall. (2009) Tremblay quickly earned a spot on the varsity roster for the Buffs in 2009. Her first official race for CU was at pre-nats. She finished as CU's No. 3 harrier and was 24th overall. Two weeks later she raced to her first All-Big 12 honor by finishing 15th overall. Tremblay earned a top-10 performance at regionals when she was the ninth racer to cross the line, also earning all-region honors. She completed her season at NCAAs with a 199th-place finish.

HIGH SCHOOL: Tremblay won the 2009 Colorado State 4A 1,600-meter title in a meet, state and school record (4:54) as well as in the 4x400 (3:47.4) and 4x800-meter relays (8:58.6). She also won the individual 800 at state. In addition, Tremblay holds school records in the 3,200 (11:09) and 5,000 (17:40). She was all-conference, all-area, all-region and all-state as well as the TVHS Female Athlete of the Year. Tremblay placed second at the state cross country meet as she helped TVHS win its second team championship in three years (last in 2006). She was named all-state, all-region and all-area with the runner-up finish. Tremblay was named the TVHS Female Athlete of the Year and served as the captain her senior year. She won the Nike Southwest Regional and her team placed fourth in the meet. Tremblay won eight of 10 cross country meets her senior year.

HIGH SCHOOL BESTS: 800-Meters: 2:13; 1,600-Meters: 4:54; 3,200-Meters: 11:09; 5,000-Meters: 17:40.

IN THE CLASSROOM: Tremblay is majoring in chemical and biological engineering and owns a 3.641 GPA. Tremblay has been named to the Dean's List as well as the Big 12 Commissioner's Honor Roll. She was a member of the National Honor Society, honor roll and was an AP Scholar with distinction in high school. 

PERSONAL: Laura Tremblay was born on March 28, 1991 in Loveland, Colo. She is the daughter of Michael and Olivia Tremblay. She has two older siblings, Anne and Joe and a twin sister Elizabeth, who is a member of CU cross country and track and field teams. Tremblay lists her hobbies as horseback riding, playing the cello, reading, playing sports, outdoor activities and hanging out with friends. She has volunteered with the Hearts and Horses program and House of Neighborly Service.
