2008 OUTLOOK: Nick is new to us and track and field but had an excellent debut cross country season and will likely help us in the distance events on the varsity level.

CROSS COUNTRY: Miller earned a spot on the CU roster at the time trial. In his collegiate debut, Miller was 14^th overall at the Rocky Mountain Shootout and was the ninth Buff to finish. He ran in the open race at pre-nats and finished 10^th overall with his best time recorded on the year at 24:52.6. Miller was an alternate at the Big 12 Championships.

HIGH SCHOOL: Miller was a three-time letterwinner on the Mountain Vista HS soccer team. He played varsity his sophomore through senior seasons. Miller won the Golden Eagle Soccer Award which is giving to the most well rounded player.

ACADEMICS: Miller is majoring in architectural engineering at Colorado. In high school, he graduated with honors and was a constant on the honor roll.

PERSONAL: Nicholas Owen Miller was born on May 22, 1987 in L.A. His parents are Roy and Marika Miller. He is the oldest of three children. His brother Andrew is 17 and his sister Natalie, a runner at MVHS, is 15. His hobbies are playing guitar and fly-fishing. He also volunteers at his church.
