PERSONAL: Stewart Marshall Shoemaker was born on December 1, 1991 in Corpus Christi, Texas. His parents are Marshall, who swam at the University of Alabama, and Claudia Shoemaker of Point Clear, Ala. He has a younger sister, Mary Katherine.
