AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.)He enters the fall as a reserve snapper on special teams; he joined the team as a walk-on for spring practice.

HIGH SCHOOLHe lettered twice in football as the team’s long snapper for placements and punts his sophomore thru senior seasons, as well as playing as a reserve defensive end. As a senior, he had 13 tackles, six for losses including and one quarterback sack. He also forced two fumbles, had two passes broken up and blocked two field goals. Valor Christian was 43-9 during his varsity career, 14-0 his sophomore and senior years and 11-3 his junior year under coach Brent Vieselmeyer, state champions all three times, but for two different classifications (3A in 2009, 4A in 2010 and 2011). He also lettered three times in lacrosse where he was an All-Metro League defender his senior year.

ACADEMICSHe is majoring in Geology at Colorado, but is also interested in history.

PERSONALHe was born September 27, 1993 in Denver. His hobbies include hanging out with his friends and listening to music. His father, Skip, was a strength and conditioning coach in the NFL (Denver, Detroit), NBA (Denver) and the NHL (Colorado; he met the members of the Avalanche’s ’96 Stanley Cup Champions when his father was with the team). He is one of four players from his team to join schools in the Football Bowl Subdivision. After college, he hopes to work in naval special warfare.
