HIGH SCHOOL—A three-star prospect by the recruiting services … 247 Composite listed him as the No. 168 wide receiver in the class, the No. 182 player from Texas and No. 1,249 player nationally … 247 Sports ranked him the No. 140 wide receiver nationally and No. 137 player from Texas … Played varsity for two seasons at Atascocita under coach Anson Carter … Senior season was a break-out season helping Atascocita to an 11-3 overall record and 5-1 record in district play … Finished his senior season with 70 catches for1,380 yards and 16 touchdowns … Added a punt return touchdown, a 68-yarder in a 52-0 win over Humble … Had seven catches for 182 yards and four touchdowns in a 41-20 win at Allen, marking the first home loss for Allen since Kyler Murray’s first start, some 84 games … Had seven catches for 135 yards and two touchdowns against Denton Guyer … Had six catches for 119 yards and a touchdown against North Shore in the playoffs … Also played baseball at Atascocita and was named first-team All-District 21-6A as a junior.
