Brandon Kronethal
               Brandon Kronethal is in his second year on the University of Colorado staff as a football recruiting assistant (scouting), as he joined the staff full-time on June 7, 2021.  He had previously worked as a volunteer for the previous three months.
 
                Kronethal, 23, came to Colorado from Wake Forest University, where he was a recruiting intern in the football office.  He had several responsibilities, among them evaluating prospects’ video for the director of player personnel and his assistants; assisting the coaching staff in on-field duties on game days and in practice; managed and updated recruiting boards; and assorted data entry to track seasons of top prospects and commits and entering other pertinent information on team members and recruits.
 
                A 2020 graduate of Penn State University, where he earned his bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, as an undergrad he was a football recruiting intern for the Nittany Lions for just under two years, covering the 2018 and 2019 seasons.  He reported directly to the recruiting coordinator (and the running backs coach) and among his many duties, helped identify and evaluate high school prospects.  A few other responsibilities included assisting with visit and game day operations and monitoring the NCAA transfer portal.
 
                During his senior year at Penn State, he was a scouting intern for Optimum Scouting/XFL, where he was tasked with creating 223 player biographies and college scouting reports for XFL Showcases and NFL roster cuts.   He also worked with the director of analytics breaking down video and inputted prospect information for almost 2,000 players over the 10 FBS conferences for the league’s database.
 
                He was born September 17, 1998 in Stamford, Conn., and graduated from Briarcliff High School (Briarcliff Manor, N.Y.).
