Offensive Run Game Coordinator/Offensive Line

Gunnar White joined the Colorado staff in December 2022 as an offensive analyst working with the offensive line. He was elevated to offensive run game coordinator and offensive line coach prior to the 2025 season.

White arrived in Boulder alongside head coach Deion Sanders after serving as an analyst working with the offensive line at Jackson State. In his first two seasons at Colorado (2023–24), he assisted in offensive line development, game preparation and run game planning before being promoted to an on-field coaching role.

In 2025, White assumed responsibility for coordinating the Buffaloes’ run game while leading the offensive line unit. His role includes oversight of run scheme design, protection structure and offensive front development.

Prior to Colorado, White served as offensive line coach for The Linemen in The Spring League, a professional developmental league. He also spent three seasons (2018–20) as a graduate assistant at Nevada and served as interim tight ends coach for the Wolf Pack in the 2021 Quick Lane Bowl. Earlier in his career, he coached at Belhaven (2017) and began his coaching journey as a student assistant at Jackson State (2014–15).

White played collegiately at Hinds Community College before transferring to Texas Tech, where he continued his career as an offensive lineman. He is a graduate of Jackson State.

A native of Terry, Mississippi, White earned all-district and all-state honors at Terry High School and was selected to play in the Bernard Blackwell North/South All-Star Game.
