                Lee Goldstein is in second year as a graduate assistant on the Colorado staff, as he assists the defensive coaches in addition to other administrative chores.

 

Goldstein, 28, was hired in March 2002 and came to Colorado from Tulane University, where he had worked the previous four seasons, one as an offensive intern and three as the defensive grad assistant.  In his season as an offensive intern, the Green Wave concluded a 12-0 season with a 41-27 win over Brigham Young in the Liberty Bowl and finished No. 7 in the nation.

 

He graduated from the University of Arizona in 1998, earning his bachelor?s degree in biology.  He played wide receiver under coach Dick Tomey for the Wildcats, and won the Mary Roby Award for academics.  He anticipated earning his MBA in both management and marketing this summer from Tulane.

 

He has also worked at Dream Street, a camp for kids with disabilities, training counselors and directing the athletic program.  

 

Born Aug. 28, 1975 in Jackson, Miss., he graduated from St. Andrews High School in Jackson, where he lettered in football, soccer and track.  He is single.
