AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.)?Enters the fall listed fourth on the depth chart at quarterback. He joined the team as a walk-on for the spring semester, when he first enrolled in college (he had a previous relationship with CU offensive coordinator Shawn Watson). He completed 4-of-7 passes for 37 yards in the three main spring scrimmages, and rushed 10 times netting 24 yards.

PREP SCHOOL (2002)?Though he had a scholarship offer from Utah State after his high school career, he decided to attend prep school on a merit scholarship at the Worcester (Mass.) Academy. He started seven games, completing 101-of-158 passes for 1,707 yards and 15 touchdowns (and only four interceptions). Despite missing two games with a fractured finger, he earned first-team All-New England Prep School honors. He completed 16-of-22 passes for 287 yards and touchdowns in a 28-26 upset of Mount Ida, and had 390 yards and four touchdowns in a 35-20 win over Valley Forge. Worchester was 5-4 under coach Pat Smith.

HIGH SCHOOL?As a senior, he earned first-team all-league honors at quarterback and was his Mater Dei?s offensive most valuable player. In completing over 68 percent of his passes, he threw for 16 touchdowns against only four interceptions, while rushing for over 200 yards and another score. He passed for 340 yards and two touchdowns in a CIF playoff game against previously undefeated Redlands in helping his team advance to the semifinals. Mater Dei was 9-5 his senior year, 11-2 his junior season and 9-1 his sophomore campaign under coach Bruce Rollinson. MDHS was a CIF champion as a sophomore, when it defeated powerhouse DeLaSalle. He also lettered as a senior in basketball (forward), helping his team to the CIF championship.

ACADEMICS?He is majoring in communication at Colorado.

PERSONAL?Born Aug. 16, 1983 in Newport Beach, Calif. Hobbies include fishing, surfing, snowboarding and hunting. Two cousins also played college football, Brad Brennan (a wide receiver at Arizona) and Bill Brennan (Cal-State Fullerton).
