AT COLORADO

  • Played in the first four games of the 2025 season, starting in one.
  • Made his first start at Colorado at home against Wyoming in week four.
  • Missed the final eight games due to injury.
  • Finished his shortened season with 83 rushing yards on 19 carries and added 10 receptions for 106 yards and two touchdowns.
  • Taylor scored the first touchdown of the season after the defense forced a turnover on the first possession the offense capped the drive with a eight yard passing touchdown to Taylor. That was the fastest scoring first touchdown in a season since 2018.

AT INCARNATE WORD
  • Played in 32 games across three seasons at Incarnate Word. Began his career as a slot receiver but transitioned to running back towards the end of the 2023 season.
  • He finished his time with 1,053 rushing yards on 179 carries and nine touchdowns on the ground and 34 receptions for 234 yards and one touchdown through the air. He also contributed in the return game with 538 yards and one touchdown on 46 punt returns and 568 yards on 29 kickoff returns.
  • Taylor won the running back job going into the 2024 season and broke out, totaling 909 yards on 152 carries (5.98 YPC) and nine rushing touchdowns. He also caught 22 passes for 163 yards out of the backfield.
  • Was named First-Team All-Conference and SLC All-Academic Team in 2024.
  • In 2023, Taylor finished with 19 kick returns for 375 total yards, and his longest run came in at 34 yards. He ran for 207 yards on punt returns and a season-high 29-yard run. 
  • He was named to the Southland 2023 Preseason All-Conference Second Team, the Bluebloods Preseason All-Southland Team, and the Phil Steele Preseason All-Southland Team. 
  • He was named to the Southland All-Conference Second Team. Phil Steele named Taylor to the Southland 2023 All-Conference Second Team for PR and AP and the Third Team for KR. 
  • During his freshman year for the Cardinals, Taylor was one of the most productive rookies on either side of the ball, contributing on offense and special teams. 
  • Playing in 11 games as a true freshman, Taylor finished the season with five rushes for 19 yards and three receptions for -2 yards. He also finished the year with 193 return yards on 10 attempts.
