In two seasons McKinney played and started in 22 games at Colorado.
He has totaled 97 total tackles, 71 unassisted tackles, 14 pass breakups, four interceptions, four tackles for loss, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.
Tied for 54th in pass breakups and tied for 66th in interceptions in CU history.

AT COLLEYVILLE HERITAGE

Played three seasons of varsity football for head coach Kirk Martin at Colleyville Heritage High School.
Totaled 35 tackles, five interceptions, four passes defended and three quarterback hurries in his senior season at Colleyville Heritage.
Led the Panthers to an 8-1 record in 2020. Went undefeated in district play that season and lost only to Mansfield Summit in the Texas 5A Division I State Playoff Quarterfinals.
Named First-team all-district.
Had 43 total tackles, two interceptions, seven passes defended and one fumble recovery for a touchdown his junior season.
Named Texas District 4-5A first-team selection at CB as a sophomore.
