HIGH SCHOOL—A two time All-League performer at Cherry Creek High School under former CU All-American Dave Logan … Cherry Creek was 28-10 the three years he lettered on the varsity squad … Cherry Creek was 9-3 his senior season, 9-4 his junior campaign and 10-3 when he was a sophomore … As a senior, he was named All-Centennial League and he recorded 52 tackles in seven games, 7.4 per, with one tackle for a loss, one interception and two pass breakups … As a junior when he was All-Centennial League and named a McChesney Top 60 player, he posted 77 tackles in 13 games, three tackles for losses, two interceptions and eight pass breakups … As a sophomore he had 14 tackles in five games and two pass breakups … Top moment was securing a game-winning interception against Mullen to send the Bruins to the state semifinals … He also played basketball at Cherry Creek.
