HIGH SCHOOL—He was an offensive lineman and team captain for the Buff n’ Blue who went 10-1 his senior season … Was awarded the team’s offensive lineman award … Under coach coach Kale Ane, he helped lead his teams to a combined 40-4 record during his prep career … Before graduating he came down with mononucleosis and combined with offseason shoulder surgery, his weight to dropped from 270 pounds down to 210 by the time he arrived at Colorado … Also played volleyball in high school.

PERSONAL—He was born Feb. 23, 1999 in Hawai`i … Lists “making money” as his hobbies or interests … His sister, Lillie, is a sophomore middle blocker for the CU volleyball program.
