HIGH SCHOOL—Played varsity for three seasons at Shadow Creek High School, helping the Sharks to a 37-5 record in three seasons, including a perfect 16-0 record as a junior and 15-1 mark as a sophomore, winning back-to-back 5A Division I Texas State Championships … He rushed 115 times for 653 yards and six touchdowns in his career and also caught eight receptions for 56 yards and one touchdowns … Senior season he rushed 37 times for 275 yards and three touchdowns with his best performance coming in a 51-0 win over Alvin when he rushed seven times for 135 yards and a touchdown … Saw limited time as a junior … Sophomore season he had 68 rushes for 364 yards and three touchdowns, including scoring in the state championship game at Texans Stadium, which he lists is one of the top moments of his high school career … Sophomore season he also caught five passes for 44 yards and a touchdown.
