AT WEST BLOOMFIELD

Gardenshire played three seasons of high school football at two different schools finishing his career at West Bloomfield under head coach Ron Bellamy.
After transferring to West Bloomfield before his senior season Gardenhire helped lead the Lakers to the Michigan State playoffs.
He began playing football his sophomore season at Depaul Catholic High School and continued his junior season for head coach Nick Campanile.
In his junior season, he helped lead the Spartans to a 6-6 record and an appearance in the NJSIAA state championship.
During his first season playing high school football, he helped the Spartans to a 7-5 record and an NJSIAA State Championship taking down Red Bank Catholic 19-17.
He also competed in basketball at Depaul Catholic averaging nine points and seven rebounds.

Gardenhire is the son of Dr. Alissa D Gardenhire and Christopher W. Crooks, with one younger sister Mckaydah Crooks.
His mother Dr. Alissa D Gardenhire earned her doctorate at Harvard.
