- ESPN rated Lewis as the No. 2 player and quarterback in the country and the No. 1 player from Georgia with a 93 overall rating.
- Lewis is the fourth top 25 recruit to commit to Colorado in the ESPN 300 era (since 2006) and the highest to commit to Colorado. Three have committed since Coach Prime came to Colorado.
- Rivals listed him as the No. 6 player in the class, the No. 3 quarterback, and the top player from Georgia.
- On3 rated Julian as the No. 59 player in the country, the No. 10 quarterback, and the No. 7 player from Georgia.
- 247 Sports listed Lewis as the No. 115 in the nation, the No. 9 quarterback, and the No. 14 player from Georgia.
- The 247 Sports Composite has him as a four-star prospect and the No. 36 player in the country. He also finished as the No. 6 ranked quarterback and overall player in the state of Georgia.
- Lewis played and started every game in his three-year high school career for head coach Joey King. Before his junior season, he announced he would reclassified from the 2026 class to the 2025.

- In his career Lewis completed 736-of-1,065 passes for 11,010 yards good for 7th all-time in Georgia despite only playing three seasons unlike all the quarterbacks ahead of him, and 144 passing touchdowns good for 5th all-time in Georgia high school football.
- In all three of his season’s Lewis threw for 48 passing touchdowns good for 13th in a season for GHSA.
- Lewis was named the 2024 Gatorade Georgia Football Player of the Year. After winning in 2023 he is only the second player to win the award twice joining Trevor Lawrence.
- After the season Lewis was named to a 2024 MaxPreps First-Team All-American and led Carrollton to the No. 9 high school football team in the country.
- In his final season he threw for for 3,798 yards the 23rd most in a season in Georgia history on a 75.6% completion percentage and 48 passing touchdowns 13th in Georgia high school history. He has chipped in 86 rushing yards and two rushing touchdowns en route to a 14-1 record and an appearance in the GHSA 6A Championship.
- Lewis in his sophomore year posted a record of 11-2 and helped Carrollton reach the 7A quarterfinals. In 2023 he completed 186 of 280 passes (66.4%) for 3,094 yards and 48 touchdowns to only two interceptions.
- In 13 games Lewis threw for at least four touchdowns in six games. Including seven touchdown passes against Harrison in the first round of the playoffs.
- Lewis won the 2023 MaxPreps National Sophomore of the Year and was a finalist for the Gatorade National Player of the Year Award. He also won his second consecutive Region Offensive Player of the Year.
- At the end of the 2023-24 season, Lewis was honored with the Gatorade Georgia Football Player of the Year. He is the first to be chosen from Carrollton High School.
- As a freshman in the highest classification (7A) of Georgia high school football, he won the starting job and led the Trojans to a 14-1 record and an appearance in the state title game.
- He completed 283 of 432 passing attempts (65.5%) for 4,118 yards the 13th most in Georgia high school football history to go along with 48 touchdowns the 12th most in a season tied with his sophomore season. In the state finals, he threw for a record 531 yards against Mill Creek.
- After the season he was named the 2022 MaxPreps National Freshman of the Year and Region Offensive Player of the Year.
- Lewis is the son of T.C. Lewis who played college football at UConn.
- He has two sisters Jordyn and Londyn.
- Flipped from his original commitment on ESPN’s The Pat McAfee Show on November 21, 2024.
- He marks the second player to commit on a national show, the first being Jordan Seaton on FS1’s Undisputed.
