AT COLORADO: This Season (Soph.-TR)—He enrolled at Colorado as a walk-on for the spring semester and has four years to play three in eligibility.
INDEPENDENCE COMMUNITY COLLEGE (2019-20)—Enrolled at Independence Community College in Kansas for two seasons … Played just one season in 2019 and left to enroll at Colorado before the 2020 season was played in the spring due to the COVID-19 pandemic … Freshman season he saw his first action at tight end and caught one pass for five yards.
HIGH SCHOOL—He played varsity football at Thompson Valley before transferring to Mountain View High School his senior season … Played quarterback at Thompson Valley his sophomore season in 2015 and then suffered a knee injury in the first game of his junior season and he had to have revision surgery at the start of his senior season after transferring to Mountain View … In his career, he completed 163-of-329 passes for 2,074 yards with 17 touchdowns and 11 interceptions … Had an impressive sophomore season in which he completed 140-of-272 passes (51.5%) for 1,807 yards with 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions … That season he earned all-conference honors and led Thompson Valley to a 6-5 record and first playoff appearance in 15 seasons … After suffering a knee injury in the first game of his junior season, he attempted just 57 passes the rest of his high school career.
