Four-year starter in high school under coach Tim Perry.
Had 1,508 rushing yards and 28 touchdowns his senior season.
Earned Class 6A second-team All-State honors by the Alabama Sports Writers Association.
Helped Wetumpka advance to the 6A Alabama state championship game for the first time in the school’s 115-year history.
Also a four-year starter on the high school basketball team.
