AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.)—An invited walk-on, he is projected as a defensive linemen as a true freshman in college.
HIGH SCHOOL—He only played in four games as a senior, as a broken hand he suffered in practice prematurely ended his season.  Before the injury, he was in on 30 tackles, with 20 solo and eight for losses at defensive tackle.  He also forced two fumbles and broke up three passes.  A two-year lettermen, he saw action as a reserve his junior year, making roughly 20 tackles for the season.  Under Mike Brookhart, Cherry Creek was 7-4 his senior season and 5-5 his junior year.  He also played on Creek’s club rugby team (prop) as a junior.
ACADEMICS—He plans on majoring in Biology at Colorado. He was an honorable mention Academic All-State team member his junior and senior seasons in high school.  He has aspirations of becoming a dentist after college.
PERSONAL—He was born May 20, 1993 in Los Angeles, Calif.  His hobbies include fishing and playing basketball.  His father (Curt) lettered as a defensive tackle at Colorado from 1984-87, earning All-Big 8 and honorable mention All-America honors as a junior; his mother Anne ran track at CU.  (Last name is pronounced coke.)
