Ranks tied for fourth on the team with seven special teams points, all seven points earned for knockdown or springing blocks on kick returns.
Played on special teams against Oregon (two snaps on FG/PAT) and recorded four knockdown or springing blocks on kickoff return.
Twice honored as a scout of the week by the coaches, on special teams for the Colorado State game an on offense for the Arizona State game.
Joined the team as a walk-on for the spring semester, as he came to Colorado with his father, Jimmy, who is CU’s defensive line coach.

AT MARYLAND—Played at Maryland for two seasons as a quarterback and tight end … Took a redshirt season in 2017 as a quarterback and made the move to tight end a as a redshirt freshman in 2018 … Did not see game action.

HIGH SCHOOL—Played senior season at Trinity Christian High School in Jacksonville, Fla., after spending his first three seasons at Lexington Catholic in Kentucky … The two schools combined for a 42-15 record in his four years … As a senior, he started at quarterback and led Trinity Christian to a 10-3 record and Florida State Championship … He completed 71-of-140 passes for 1,273 yards, 14 touchdowns and six interceptions … Also ran 40 times for 140 yards and three touchdowns … As a junior, he started the first three games of the season at Lexington Catholic before breaking his collar bone … He had thrown for nearly 800 yards and five touchdowns in those first three games … Lexington Catholic went on to an 11-4 record and lost in the state championship game … Lexington Catholic was 11-4 his sophomore season and 10-4 when he was a freshman … Top games include a 360 yard passing performance with three touchdowns against Ryle his junior year and a 258 yard, three touchdown performance against Columbia as a senior … He played on ESPN twice while at Trinity Christian, against Cocoa, to open the season, and against IMG Academy in mid-October of his senior season.
