AT COLORADO: This Season (Fr.) -- He is projected as a linebacker as a true freshman. He joined the team as an invited walk-on for August drills.
HIGH SCHOOL -- As a senior, he earned first-team all-league, all-Bay Area, all-East Bay and all-county honors at linebacker, and was second-team all-East Bay at fullback while being named the San Ramon Valley Times Fall Athlete of the Year. He was the most valuable player in the North Coast Section title game (his team won 46-20). He finished the season with 1,010 rushing yards and 15 touchdowns on 165 attempts. As the team’s defensive MVP, as he recorded 145 tackles, nine quarterback sacks and four interceptions. As a junior, he was named second-team all-league at linebacker, when he posted 90 total tackles, four sacks and two interceptions (one for a touchdown); he rushed for 550 yards and seven touchdowns on offense. SRVHS was 11-2 his senior year, winning the North Coast Section Championship for the first time in his school’s 104-year existence, and was 6-5 his junior year. He also lettered in lacrosse, his team’s defensive MVP his senior year, and participated in baseball (he was the freshman team’s MVP).
ACADEMICS -- He is interested in business (marketing) or economics as possible majors at Colorado.
