AT COLORADO: 2019 (Soph.)—Joined the team after fall camp and served as the scout team quarterback after the first week of the season … Named the team's Offensive Scout of the Year and earned that same weekly award six times, leading into the Nebraska, Arizona, Oregon, Washington State, USC and Stanford games.
PREVIOUS SCHOOLS (2017-18)—Played the 2018 season at Redland (Calif.) University and was a back-up quarterback … He completed 1-of-2 passes for six yards and has two rushes for three yards … He played at Ottawa University in his home state of Arizona in 2017 as a freshman.
HIGH SCHOOL—He played quarterback for two seasons at Brophy Prep, helping the team to an 8-4 record as a senior and 7-5 as a junior … As a senior in 12 games, completed 125-of-210 passes for 1,542 yards and 10 touchdowns with a long of 80 and he also had two rushing touchdowns … His biggest moment was beating Hamilton for the first time in school history, 44-21, when he threw for two touchdowns against the top team in the state … He had three touchdowns, including an 80-yard bomb, in a 33-0 win over Fresno (Calif.)
