2006 (Fr.-RS)?He missed the entire season, as he suffered a torn ACL in spring practice shortly after the team returned from spring break, and had what would be season-ending surgery on April 14. As expected, the rehabilitation process took the better part of a year.
2005 (Fr.)?Redshirted; practiced all season at wide receiver after joining the team after the start of classes.
HIGH SCHOOL?A two-time letterman at wide receiver and free safety, as a senior he was selected as his team’s most improved player. That season, he had 27 receptions for 507 yards and four touchdowns, averaging 18.8 yards per catch. On defense, he was in on 30 tackles (19 solo), and had two interceptions. St. Francis was 5-5 his senior year under coach Bobby Bennett (losing in the first round of the state playoffs) after going 1-8 his junior season under Brian Wojtun. He also lettered once in both track and baseball, and also played basketball. In his one year (senior) on the track team, he participated in the long jump, recording the third best mark in school history, winning the conference and sectional title and qualifying for the state meet, and also in sprints and relays (4x100 and 4x200, anchoring the state qualifying team in the latter). He earned both all-conference and all-state honors in the long jump. He played second and third base in baseball and was a shooting guard in basketball.
