He had his breakout season in 2025, starting in all 12 games and leading the defense with 93 total tackles, 59 unassisted tackles, six pass breakups, and four forced fumbles. He also added three interceptions and 1.5 tackles for loss.
His play earned him Second Team All-CUSA honors.
At the end of the regular season, his 59 unassisted tackles ranked third-most among CUSA defenders, and his four forced fumbles led the conference and tied for fifth in the nation.
The Temple, Texas, native also ranked tied for sixth among CUSA defenders in passes defended with nine total (6 PBUs and 3 INTs).
