AT BRANDON HIGH SCHOOL

Played four seasons of varsity football for head coaches Lance Pogue in 2025 and Sam Williams for his first three years.

During his career, he accumulated 203 total tackles, 14 pass breakups, eight tackles for loss, three interceptions, two sacks, two hurries, two fumble recoveries, and one forced fumble.
Of his four seasons, he had two state title game appearances and one semifinal appearance.
Ashley was named to the roster for the Alabama-Mississippi All-Star Game.

In 2023, he put up 66 total tackles, two pass breakups, and one interception en route to the semifinals in the playoffs.
During his freshman season, he recorded 34 total tackles, one tackle for loss, one pass breakup, and one fumble recovery as they reached the state championship game.

PERSONAL

Preston Tyrone Ashley is the son of Tyrone and Jennifer Ashley. He has one brother, Paxton Ashley, and one sister, Tyanna Taylor.
His father, Tyrone Ashley, played football at Ole Miss.
Two of his uncles had successful football careers. Rowell Preston played at Ole Miss and for the Green Bay Packers in the NFL. Rock Preston played for Florida State and won the 1993 NCAA National Championship.
