2023-24 (Freshman): An All-Pac-12 Freshman Team selection, he ranked third on the team in scoring at 11.9 points per game while ranking second in shooting at 55.2 percent from the field and in blocked shots (16). Named to the Kyle Macy Freshman All-America Team, one of 30 finalists for the National Freshman of the Year award by CollegeInsider.com. Earned Pac-12 Freshman of the Week honors on Jan. 22 after averaging 19.5 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.5 steals to lead the Buffaloes in the home sweep of Oregon (1/18) and Oregon State (1/20). He shot 69.6 from the field including 5 of 7 from 3-point range. He had a career-high 23 points, on 10-of-13 from the field, in the win over the Ducks. He followed that up with 16 points and six rebounds against the Beavers. He was also honored as Dick Vitale’s “Diaper Dandy” of the week, recognizing the nation’s best performances in his Dickie V’s Stars of the Week. Hit the 20-point mark three times, the first coming at Colorado State (11/29) scoring all 21 of his points in the second half. He followed that up with another 21 points on 9-of-13 shooting against Pepperdine (12/3). He missed 13 games due to various injuries, including an ankle that sidelined him for the final four regular season games before returning for the postseason. He scored in double figures in 14 games, including 12 points in the NCAA second round game against Marquette (3/24), his best output since returning from the ankle injury. Earned honorable mention to the 2023-24 Preseason Media All-Pac-12 Team. Listed as No. 92 in The Almanac's preseason Top 100 player rankings. Named to NCAA.com's preseason list of Top 10 freshmen. Colorado's first "one-and-done" he was selected by the Utah Jazz with the 10th overall pick in the 2024 NBA Draft, the fourth-highest pick in program history.

USA Basketball: A member of the 2023 Men's U19 National Team, averaged 7.9 points and 3.6 rebounds in seven games at the 2023 FIBA Men's U19 World Cup in Hungary, helping Team USA to a fourth-place finish with a 5-2 record. Participated in the 2023 USA Men's Nike Hoop Summit.

High School: A 2023 graduate of Perry High School. Named to the 2023 Jersey Mike's Naismith High School Boys All-America Team, averaging 18 points per games while guiding Perry to the 2023 Arizona Open Division state championship with a 30-1 record. A McDonald's All-American, becoming the fourth Buffalo to play in that classic and the third directly from high school. Named all-conference, all-region and offensive player of the year. He is Colorado's first five-star recruit since David Harrison. The top recruit in the Class of 2023 according to On3 and listed at No. 7 in the ESPN100, 247Sports and Rivals rankings. Played for the Vegas Elite in the EYBL between his junior and senior years, averaging 15 points and four rebounds on that circuit.

Academics: An Integrative Physiology while at Colorado; has an interest in medicine and sports medicine.

Personal: Born Nov. 20, 2004, in San Louis Obispo, Calif., he is the son of Ron and Nicole Williams. Has two older siblings, Jasmine and Jalen. His brother Jalen played at Santa Clara and was the 12th overall pick by the Oklahoma City Thunder in the 2022 NBA Draft. He would like to play in the NBA. Enjoys bowling, golf and watching film. Has done volunteer work in shelters. Chose Colorado over Texas, USC, Arizona and LSU in part because "I love the coaching staff, team and style of play." Had never seen snow in person (prior to Boulder's first fall snow in Oct. 2023).
