Career: Finished his four-year career ranking 11th in 3-pointers made and attempted (126-343), 13th in games played (121), 21st in steals (98) and 22nd in assists (221).
2017-18 (Senior): Named the 2017-18 Co-Pac-12 Sixth Man of the Year, sharing the award with Arizona State's Remy Martin. He was second in the Pac-12 Conference in 3-point shooting during league play. Collier was fourth on the team in scoring at 7.5 points per game while ranking second in assists (46) and 3-point field goals and third in steals (18) and 3-point percentage. He did log 10 starts, including seven straight to begin the season. Collier settled into his "Sixth-Man" role for the bulk of the conference season. He scored in double-figures nine times including a memorable Senior Day where he scored a season-best 19 points against UCLA (2/25). The 19 points was the second-most of his career and his personal-best at the Coors Events Center. Collier was 5 of 9 from 3-point range as the Buffaloes recorded their first season-sweep of the Bruins. Collier had another great effort with 17 points against Arizona State in the Pac-12 Tournament (3/7) where he notched career-highs in free throws made and attempted (8-10). He had 11 points and a season-high six assists in the home win over the Sun Devils (1/4), then ranked No. 4/6 in the nation.
2016-17 (Junior): Ranked fifth on the team in scoring at 6.0 points per game while averaging 1.6 assists and just under one steal per contest. He was second on the team in total steals (24) despite missing nine games early in the season with a foot injury. All 24 of his steals came during Pac-12 play, allowing him to be ranked 12th on the league leaderboard during that span. Collier led the team in stelas seven times, including a season-best four in the home win over Washington (2/9). He began the season with a bang, scoring 12 points on 4-of-6 from 3-point range against Sacramento State (11/11), but a recurring foot issue flared up shortly thereafter and he played limited minutes against Seattle U. (11/14) before missing the next nine contests. He returned where he left off at Air Force (12/19) hitting 3-of-6 from deep and finishing with nine points. Collier had six double-figure scoring games including a season-high 13 points on 5-of-10 shooting at No. 7/8 Oregon (2/18). Started 15 of 25 games, with the bulk of those starts coming in the second half of the season, including all three postseason games.
2015-16 (Sophomore): Averaged 7.5 points and paced Colorado in assists (2.7 apg) and steals (1.1 spg). He finished second in the Pac-12 in 3-point percentage (.444) having hit 40-of-90Â attempts while also placing 15th on the league leaderboard in steals. He was a key part in Colorado setting school single-season records for 3-pointers made (252) and 3-point percentage (.389). Collier scored a career-high 21 points at Washington (1/20) including a personal-best and team season-high six 3-point field goals (on seven attempts, .857). Led Colorado in assists 15 times and also in steals 15 times. He had seven games with five or more assissts, including season's top two team performances. Collier had a career-best eight assists against Nicholls (12/18) while recording zero turnovers. He dished out seven assists in the road win over Colorado State (12/6). Collier shot 75.7 percent from the free throw line (56-of-74). At one point during the nonconference schedule, he hit 17 in a row, the team's longest streak of the season. He played all 34 games, starting all but one contest (at UCLA on 2/20). He scored eight times in double digits.
2014-15 (Freshman): Averaged 4.7 points, 1.7 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 0.6 steals per game playing in 30 of 34 games with 10 starts. He scored three double-digit games, including a season-best 14 points against Oregon (3/12). Netted a pair of 11 point games at Seattle (3/23) and Utah (2/7). Third overall on the team in assists (44) and tied for fourth in steals (18). Recorded 11 games with six or more points, seven games with three or more assists. Season-best six assists at Oregon State (2/21) and five assists, twice in wins at Washington (3/5) and home against Gardner-Webb (3/18). CU went 3-1 in games when Collier had 5-plus assists. Season-high 40 minutes at USC (3ots) and 35 minutes (regulation high) against the Ducks in Las Vegas. In his 10 starts, averaged 6.2 points per game (fifth on team). His 2.1 assists per game and 3-pointers made (10) ranked second overall. Led CU in assists three times and twice in steals (both shared) during his 10 starts. Made his college debut making his first two shot attempts – both 3-pointers at Wyoming (11/22).
High School: Four-year letterwinner and 2014 graduate of Denver East High School helping the Angels to a 93-17 overall record (.846). Averaged 23.4 points, 4.3 rebounds, 3.7 assists, 3.5 steals and 0.7 blocks per game as a senior. Shot 57 percent from the field, 80 percent from the free-throw line and 37 percent from three-point range. Helped Denver East to a 24-4 record and a 5A state championship at the Coors Events Center during his senior year. Also named tournament most valuable player. Named Mr. Colorado Basketball by The Denver Post for the second consecutive year. Four-time member of The Denver Post All-Colorado team. Earned honorable mention to the Max Preps All-America team. Named MVP of The Show All-Star Game at the Pepsi Center (April 2014) scoring 17 points with six rebounds and six assists leading the Gold Team to an 83-79 win over the Blue Team. Once scored 40 points in a single game on 13-of-25 shooting (Jan. 17, 2014 vs. Denver North).Averaged 20.1 points, 3.6 assists, 5.0 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 1.3 blocks per game as a junior. Led East (25-3) to the 5A state championship game at the Coors Events Center. Named Colorado Mr. Basketball and Gatorade Player of the Year. Led East to a 23-5 record as a sophomore, earning First team All-Colorado, All Denver Prep League and 9News Student-Athlete of the Week honors. Helped East to a 21-5 record as a freshman. Named First team All-Colorado, All Denver Prep League and to the Max Preps All-Freshman Team. Has international basketball experience (USA Basketball, three-on-three competition in Indonesia with FIBA’s USA team).
Academics: Graduated from Colorado in May 2018 with his degree in Sociology and a minor in Ethnic Studies.
Personal: Born Dec. 8, 1995 in Denver, Colo.. Son of Darryl and Lori Collier. Youngest of four siblings (Darryl Jr., Daye, Candice). Played on the same AAU team (Kansas City Run GMC) as fellow CU teammate Tory Miller. Also played with Ronnie Harrell (Creighton) and AAU teammate Conner Frankamp (Wichita State). Lists winning state championship at the Coors Events Center during his senior year and playing for Team USA U-16 as his biggest moments of prep career. Verbally committed to the Buffs on May 7, 2013. Wore jersey number 24 in high school.
