Career: Finished four-year career in 49th place on the school's all-time
scoring list (750 points) • Played 117 games (t-9th); logged 2,468 minutes (17th); grabbed 234 rebounds; handed-out 160 assists (33rd); made 97 three-pointers; 80 steals (24th overall); 247-for-571 from the field (.433); 159-for-196 from the free throw line (81.1 percent).

2009-10 (senior): Played in 30 of 31 games with 10 starts • Averaged 21.0 minutes, 7.5 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.6 assists per game • Tied for second in three-pointers (32) • Missed Dec. 7 game with a sprained left ankle, ending a streak of 57-straight starts • Led the team in FT percentage with .896 (minimum 65 attempts), good enough for second place all-time in a single-season and led the team in 3-point FG percentage .451 (min. 70 attempts) • In games that Thorne II was a starter, CU's record was 6-4 • 12 games shooting over .570 from the field and nine games over 60 percent • 11 games with 10+ scoring games • Season-high 19 points against Cal State Northridge (Dec. 22) and Big 12-high 15 points at Oklahoma State (Jan. 20) • Scored double-digit points in 11 games, CU's record in those games was 8-3 • Shot 1.000 from the free throw line in 14 of the 21 games he attempted a free throw • Made 21-of-36 three-pointers (58.3 percent) in the 15 games.

SUMMER 2009: Selected as one of 10 NCAA Division I student-athletes to participate on an Athletes In Action (AIA) team for a one-week competitive international tour against teams in Poland and Berlin, Germany. 

2008-09 (junior): Tri-captain • Started every game (31) • Team leader with 45 made 3-pointers • Second in team scoring (12.0 ppg.), steals (35), made field goals (128), free throws made (70), third in assists with 52 (1.7 apg.) and minutes played (33.4); fourth in rebounds (3.4) • Finished the season ranked in three Big 12-only categories (fifth in three-point field goals (.424), seventh in minutes played (34.8), t-13th steals (1.2) • Played 1,035 minutes (ninth overall at CU) and made 128 field goals, surpassing his previous two-year total of 53 • Made a three-pointer in 23 of 31 games, 12 games w/ at least two treys • Scored in double-digits 22 times (11 conference), netted 20+ three times (twice conference) and scored a career-best 30 points vs. Kansas State (Jan. 24) on 8-for-12 shooting with a personal-best five three-pointers, nine free throws made and 11 attempts; also played first 40-minute game • Trio of 20+ point efforts (Montana State, Nov. 18; Nebraska, Feb. 4; K-State) • Led team in scoring eight times (five conference); recorded five or more rebounds nine times (five conference); made three or more 3-pointers five times (three conference); logged 35+ minutes 16 times (11 conference), and played 30+ minutes 24 times • CU athlete of the Week honor (Jan. 14-20).

2007-08 (sophomore): Played in 29 games with five starts • Averaged 3.3 points and 1.2 rebounds per game • Went 18-for-22 from the free throw line (.818) • Missed three games due to injury • Scored 10 or more points in three games • Scored a career-best 14 points on 5-for-10 shooting in Big 12 Tournament victory over Baylor (Mar. 13), also tallied three 3-pointers, three rebounds and an assist • Recorded 13 points in home win over Colorado Christian (Nov. 20) with a perfect 5-for-5 shooting from the field, also added career-highs with six rebounds and five assists • Led team in steals four times (twice shared) and assists twice (one shared) • In two conference tournament games averaged 10 points and 2.5 rebounds.

SUMMER 2007: Selected to play with 10 current and former college basketball players on a one-week competitive tour (Athletes In Action) in August against professional teams in Germany • Team USA won all six games averaging 98 points; average margin of victory was 35 points.

2006-07 (freshman): Played in 27 games with two starts • Averaged 2.1 points, 1.2 assists and 1.2 rebounds per game • First career start came against Kansas (Feb. 14), also started at Texas Tech (Feb. 17) • Season-high seven points, twice, against Iowa State (Jan. 17), and at Baylor (Jan. 30) • Led the team in assists twice (one shared) • Season-best five assists against Pepperdine (Dec. 4) • Played over 20 minutes, seven times • Made 11-for-16 (.688) from the free throw line and connected on a 3-pointer in seven of 16 conference games • Recorded a career-high five rebounds against Air Force (Nov. 18).

MARTIN HS: Averaged 18.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, 4.6 assists a game as a senior • Became the first player in the school's 22-year history to play on the varsity all four years • Biggest moment of high school career was making two free throws with no time remaining to clinch the school's district championship during his sophomore year • Two-time school most valuable player (junior and senior years) • All-District 7-5A team and Class 5A Region I All-Region • As a junior, averaged 15.0 points, seven rebounds and four assists.

ACADEMICS: Graduated in May 2010 with a degree in marketing.

PERSONAL: Born Dwight Lee Thorne II on September 23, 1988 in Dallas, Texas • Son of Dwight Sr. and Vivian Thorne • Goals after college are playing basketball professionally and being a successful businessman • Who's Who among high school students as an Eleanor Grace Martin award finalist • Comes from an athletic family, cousin, Acie Law IV played for Texas A&M (2003-07) and currently plays in the NBA with the Atlanta Hawks; great uncle, Ernie Banks played professional baseball with the Chicago Cubs • One of four CU student-athletes nominated in the Spring 2009 to represent CU at the NCAA Student-Athlete Development Conference in Orlando, Fla.
