2005-06 NOTES

One of 10 seniors on this year’s team ... One of four seniors who has played the previous three seasons in a Buffs uniform ...  Has participated in every game during his career (91) with 11 starts ... 1,432 consecutive minutes without fouling out in a game, ranking third in school history. Has finished with four fouls, three times ... Lone player on the team with over 300 career rebounds (329) and ranks 50th in team history ... One of two players returning (Copeland) with over 200 career rebounds ... Has recorded 11 games in double-digits and three games with 10 or more rebounds in a game ... Eleven career starts averaging 7.5 points and 6.3 rebounds ... A consistent free throw shooter over his career (.716).

 

Coach Patton says, “We’re looking for a lot of leadership from Glean. He has shown the ability to be a solid rebounder; and we’re looking for him to become more of a consistent rebounder and making open shots.”

 

2004-05

Tied for 15th in the Big 12 Conference only games in offensive rounding (2.19) ... Season-best and career-high 13 points and 33 minutes played at Missouri (Feb. 22) ... Also grabbed 10 rebounds against the Tigers ... In addition to his double-double at Mizzou recorded his first career double with 12-point, 11-rebound effort in overtime win at Iowa State (Jan. 22) ... The win over the Cyclones helped CU win in Ames for the first time since Feb. 19, 1991 ... Scored a team-high 12 points and tied a career-best five field goals at Iowa State ... Led team in assists with four at Kansas (Feb. 12) and tied for rebound-high with five ... Earned CU Athlete of the Week honors (Jan. 16-22) for averaging 12 points, 10 rebounds in road games at Baylor (Jan. 19) and at Iowa State. Also shot 9-of-17 (.529) from the field in those road games ...  Crashed the boards with a career-high 12 vs. Kansas (Jan. 15) ... Made 4-of-4 free throws vs. Colorado State (Dec. 18) and helped the Buffaloes convert 28-of-37 (.757) for their fifth straight win over the Rams ... For the season, averaged 18.2 minutes with 5.3 points and 4.3 rebounds ... Finished second on the team at the charity stripe shooting 62-of-83 (.747) ... One of five players with over 120 rebounds for the season finishing fourth with 130; second in offensive (50) and third in defensive (80).

 

2003-04

Netted double-digits five times and scored a career-high 14 points at Colorado State (Dec. 10) that included 10-of-11 from the free throw line ... Also added a personal-best three steals against the Rams ... Other top scoring games included 12 points each in CU’s home wins over Texas Tech (Feb. 18) and Oklahoma (Feb. 25) ... On the glass grabbed six or more rebounds seven times, all CU wins, including a career-best nine boards at Northwestern (Nov. 21) ... Played in all 29 games with one start (Richmond, Dec. 31) ... Averaged 15.7 minutes off the bench with 5.0 points and 3.6 rebounds a game ... Shot 43.6 percent from the field (44-of-101) and 66.2 percent from the free throw line (45-68) ... Ranked third in offensive rebounds (40) and his 103 rebounds was fourth overall ... Handed out a career-high five assists against the Sooners and also recorded a career-high in minutes with 29 during the Buffs overtime victory over OU (Feb. 25) ... Also found the free throw line against OU with six of CU’s 21 made.

 

2002-03

Played in all 32 games ... Averaged 3.5 points and 3.0 rebounds ... Averaged nearly 13.5 minutes off the bench with one start (Oklahoma State, March 5) ... Season-high 5-of-8 performance for 11 points at Nebraska (Jan. 18) ... Grabbed four or more rebounds in 11 games, including eight at Missouri (Feb. 1) and seven each at Oklahoma (Jan. 11) and at Kansas (Feb. 19) ... Assisted on Mookie Wright’s game-winning 3-pointer as time expired in CU’s 77-76 win over Kansas State (Mar. 13) at the Big 12 Tournament first round ... Four of season’s 10 blocks came at Missouri (Feb.1) ... Made 74 percent of his free throws (37-of- 50) and played a season-high 28 minutes at Kansas (Feb. 19).
