A McDonald's All-America nominee for the state of Arizona as a senior, helping DCC to a 19-5 record and third place in the TGS Power Conference. Rated a four-star prospect by 247Sports, listing him as the fifth-best player in the state of Arizona and the 22nd-best shooting guard in the country. Scored over 2,000 points in three seasons at Los Lunas (N.M.) High School before opting to join Dream City Christian in Arizona for his final season of prep basketball. A three-time New Mexico Class 5A All-State First Team pick. Averaged 25.4 points as a junior, leading Los Lunas to a 20-10 record and a spot in the Class 5A state quarterfinals.
