2008-09 (freshman): Played in 17 games during his freshman season averaging 5.5 minutes per game • Averaged 2.6 points per game • Came off the bench to score a game-high 19 points at Missouri (Jan. 14) on 7-of-12 shooting; also made a pair of three-pointers against the Tigers and played a season-high 19 minutes • Grabbed a season-high three rebounds at Mizzou • First CU freshman to led team in scoring in first Big 12 game (the other, Richard Roby, 12 points at Oklahoma, Jan. 8, 2005) • Played 17 minutes against Oklahoma State (Feb. 25) • Saw action in six Big 12 games averaging 9.7 minutes with a 5.5 ppg. average • Missed four games with a minor ligament left knee sprain • 10 minutes against Kansas (Jan. 17) collecting seven points (4-of-4 FT line) with one steal • Scored five or more points four times (three in conference); Played 10+ minutes four times (all in conference); Made multiple three-pointers in two games (one conference) • Was the youngest scholarship mbb student-athlete in the Big 12 Conference.
DIAMOND RANCH HS: Three-year basketball letterwinner • Two-time All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) first-team selection junior and senior years • Second team All-CIF sophomore year • Averaged 17 points, 4.0 rebounds, 2.4 assists and 1.4 steals per game as a senior • Shot 72 percent from the free-throw line • Played primarily shooting guard and played the point • Helped the Panthers to the third round of the CIF Championship sophomore year • Broke the school record for steals in a single game (10) and most 3-pointers made in a game (11) • Member of AAU San Diego Magic Full Court Press Championship team and member of third place AAU Reebok Tourney team in Las Vegas • Also attended the Reebok/ABCD (inaugural year in 2007, Philadelphia) and one of 10 players selected in southern California to attend the ABCD's Camp Next (2006, New Jersey) • In the classroom was named a four-time Principal Honor Roll recipient and City of Pomona Academic Achievement Award winner during his senior year.

PERSONAL: Born Ryan Nico Kelley on July 31, 1990 in Covina, Calif. • Son of Ralph and Cynthia Kelley • Comes from a basketball family, uncle, Vincent played for the Buffaloes from 1980-84; and cousin, Sheldon Pace played in the Chinese Professional League • Would like to be involved in the business world after graduation • Enjoys swimming, music and going to the movies in his spare time • Says hitting the game-winning shot against the tournament favorite team at the Johnny Cochran Classic as his biggest moment of prep career.
