2011-12 (redshirt-sophomore): Played in 16 games, all in a reserve role • Averaged 1.1 points and 1.0 rebound per game • Scored a season-high four points on three different occasions (at Oregon State, Mar. 3; Stanford, Feb. 23; Maryland, Nov. 18) • Tied a career- and season-best four rebounds in home win over New Orleans (Dec. 28) • Played a season-high 17 points in season opener and home win against For Lewis College (Nov. 11) • Registered a conference high in minutes played, twice with 10 minutes at USC (Jan. 26) and Stanford (Feb. 23) • Two assists each against Texas Southern (Dec. 22) and Utah (Dec. 31) • Helped Colorado earn its first NCAA Tournament berth since the 2002-03 season (nine years) and only the third NCAA Tournament appearance since 1968-69 (43 years) • Member of the Pac-12 Conference Tournament Championship team and the automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament winning four games in four days at the Staples Center in Los Angeles.

2010-11 (redshirt-freshman): Tied a school record for games played in a season (38) • Made three starts • Averaged 13.1 minutes, 2.1 points, 1.3 rebounds, 1.2 assists per game • Shot 42 percent from the field (29-of-69), 64.7 percent at free throw line (22-of-34) • Fifth in assists (46) with a 1.77 assist-to-turnover ratio • Handed-out a season-best six assists in home win over Texas-Pan American (Nov. 30) • Also had five assists in home win over Longwood (Dec. 19) • Three other games with three assists (Alcorn State, Nov. 23), Maryland Eastern Shore (Dec. 29), Texas Southern (Mar. 16) • Recorded a season-high nine points against Maryland Eastern Shore and came off the bench to score eight points with a conference season best 21 minutes in two-point home win over Kansas State (Feb. 12) • 25 games registered an assist • 14 games grabbed at least two rebounds in a game • Featured as No. 1 highlight on ESPN SportsCenter Top Plays (March 18 against Cal) with a monster dunk following a missed shot.

2009-10 (freshman): Missed the entire 2009-10 season after suffering a left knee injury during pre-season workouts in October • Successful micro-fracture surgery in November • Four years playing the point-guard position remaining • One of four freshmen entering the 2009-10 season. 

Corona Centennial HS: As a senior in 2007-08, averaged 17.9 ppg., 7.9 rpg., 7.7 apg., 3.2 spg. • Helped the Huskies to a 27-5 record during his senior season • Tallied four top-five Mountain View League finishes in points (2nd), assists (1st), steals (1st), rebounds (4th) • Recorded five triple-doubles during his senior campaign • Mountain View League and Triple Crown Tournament Most Valuable Player • Also named to the Inland Empire and Corona all-tournament team • Division 2 All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) and All-Riverside County first-team his senior year • Member of 2007 All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) championship team • Helped Corona to the 2007 and 2008 Mountain View League Championship • In 2008, AAU team was ranked No. 3 nationally.

Academics: Open Option major in Colorado's College of Arts and Sciences • One of three CU student-athletes to earn the most improved student-athlete award during the 2011-12 academic year. 

Personal: Born April 8, 1990 in Riverside, Calif. • Son of the late Jude and Monique Sharpe • Has a younger sister, Shari • Nickname is "duece" • Spent 2008-09 at Laurinburg (N.C.) Institute, but did not play basketball • Lists graduating from high school as his biggest moment of prep career.
