2024-25 (Sophomore): Averaged 6.2 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.7 assists over 34 games. Led team in 3-point percentage (.386), was third in 3-point field goals made (39), fourth in assists (59) and fifth in steals (24). Scored in double figures seven times, including a career-high 14 points in the Big 12 opener against Iowa State (12/30). He had 13 points in the Big 12 Championship second-round game against West Virginia (3/12), all coming in the second half. Led the Buffaloes in scoring for the first time at Kansas State (3/2) with 11 points. Grabbed a career-best eight rebounds at UCF (1/8), leading the Buffaloes in rebounding for the second time. Made 16 starts, the first coming against Colorado State (12/7). Hit 4 of 7 from 3-point range at the Maui Invitational and was second on the team with seven assists. Following the season, transferred to DePaul.

2023-24 (Redshirt Freshman): Averaged 2.9 points and just over one rebound in seven games. Played in the first seven games, and was solidifying a spot in the regular rotation averaging nearly 12 minutes a contest before a lower leg injury cost him the final 30 games of the season. Made his collegiate debut in the season opener against Towson (11/6), pulling down two rebounds. Scored a career-high, and first double-figure game, with 11 points against Milwaukee (11/14) hitting 3 of 4 from 3-point range in 18 minutes. Made 5 of his 11 3-point attempts (.455) and 5 of 7 from the line (.714) on the season.

2022-23 (Freshman): Sat out the season as a redshirt in the Colorado basketball program.

High School: A 2022 graduate of Damien High School. Averaged 15.7 points, 7.0 rebounds and 7.0 assists over his four-year career with the Spartans. He is the school’s all-time leader in steals (260) and wins (112) and is second in career rebounds (824) and third in points (1,777). Helped Damien to the 2022 CIF State Division I championship and Baseline League title with a 32-4 record. A four-time All-CIF and Baseline League First Team pick. Named the 2022 Baseline League and San Gabriel Valley Tribune MVP. Selected to the All-CIF State Southern Section First Team. Played two years of club basketball with Prodigy out of Rancho Cucumonga, Calif.

Academics: Majoring in Psychology at Colorado. Was an Honor Roll student at Damien.

Personal: Born Sept. 23, 2003 in Los Angeles, his full name is Randolph Smith, Jr. He is the son of Monica Smith, who played basketball at Cal State Los Angeles. Has four siblings, Jordan, Kennedy, Paris Green and Aleshia Hathaway. Enjoys listening to music, watching movies and playing basketball. Favorite team is the Los Angeles Lakers. He can juggle.
