College-2012-13 (Sr.): He played in seven tournaments, all six in the fall and one in the spring; he had a 74.40 stroke average for the year, his 73.88 mark fifth best on the team in the fall; his 72.83 final round average was Colorado’s second best. He had three top 20 performances, headed by a tie for 13th in the New Mexico Tucker Invitational, where after an opening 77 he bounced back with rounds of 72 and 71 for a 220 total (+4). He tied for 20th in CU’s Mark Simpson Invitational, turning in a 72-73-69-214 (-2) effort in defending the title he had won as a junior. He was also fifth in the Ballyneal Challenge, an individual tournament that saw CU compete with Air Force. For the fall national rankings, he tied for 28th in fairways hit (77.0 percent) and 45th in greens hit in regulation (70.6 percent). In his only spring event, he tied for 106th in the Hawai’i-Hilo Amer Ari Invitational (232, +16).

2011-12 (Jr.): He played in all 11 tournaments in finishing with a 73.47 stroke average, second on the team. He had the best middle round scoring figure of 72.25, with his fall 68.75 also the team’s high mark. He led CU with five rounds in the 60s, was second on the team in birdies with 97 (his 43 in the fall were a team best) and his 11 holes worse than a bogey (out of 612) were a team low. He owned a 72.67 stroke average for the fall, with that number the 15th best average for a fall season in school history (though third on the team). He entered the season without competing in a college tournament for nearly two years, but made a statement in his return by winning CU’s Mark Simpson Invitational. Playing as an individual, he recorded a 66-66-73-205 scorecard, tying for medalist honors; his 36-hole total of 132 as well as his 11-under par 205 effort both tied school records for a par-72 course. His top spring effort was a tie for third in the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, in which he stood at 131 after two rounds (-9; 64-67) before he closed with an even-par 70 for a 201 score, a CU all-time best on a par-70 track. His other top effort came at the Bandon Dunes Championship, where he recorded a 75-73-72-220 scorecard (+7) which tied him for 15th. He played in his second league tournament, now the Pac-12 Championships as opposed to the Pacific-10 when he was a freshman; he shaved 27 strokes off that score with a 301 (+13) total that tied him for 47th. Also in the fall, he was 1-1 in Colorado Cup matches against Colorado State.

2010-11: He redshirted after transferring to CU from UCLA during the summer; he actively participated in team qualifying events throughout the year.

At UCLA (2008-09/2009-10; Fr./Soph)-He saw action in just two fall tournaments as a sophomore, with a 78.0 stroke average; but was a near regular as a true freshman when he made eight starts and played 24 rounds. That year, his top efforts were 23rd place ties at the Bill Cullum Invitational (73-75-76-224; +8) and at the CordeValle Classic (72-73-75-220; +6). He had two rounds under par as a frosh, a 70 (-1) at the USC Invitational and a 71 (-1) at the Match Play Championship.

High School-A two-sport, seven-time letterwinner at Kent Denver, earning three varsity letters as a center in hockey for Coach Dave Labette and four letters in golf for Coach Bob Austin. In golf, he led the Sun Devils to a pair of state championships and won the individual state title as a senior. He posted a 69-68-137 (-5) scorecard in winning the state championship at the Broadlands Golf Club. A four-time All-Metro League and two-time All-State selection as well as the 2008 Colorado Player of the Year his senior year. As a senior, he averaged a school-record 69.3 strokes per round. In hockey, he scored 13 goals with 12 assists in 13 games as a senior when he earned All-State honors. He also played lacrosse in high school.

Other-2011: He tied for 31st in the Southwestern Amateur (El Paso, Texas), with a 73-70-70-78-291 (+3) scorecard. Tied for 49th in the Rice Planters Amateur (Mt. Pleasant, S.C.) with a 79-70-71-73-293 (+5) effort. 2010: He cruised to medalist honors in the U.S. Amateur Sectional Qualifying at the Broadmoor Golf Club’s West Course, turning in a 73-65-138 (-2) scorecard to win by seven shots. In the stroke play qualifier for the event at Chambers Bay/University Place, Wash., he shot 80-75-155 (+13), tying for 155th in the 312-man field (he missed the cut by six strokes). He played in the Colorado Open, but was 4-over after 36 and missed the cut by four strokes. He tied for 83rd in the Trans-Mississippi Championship at Denver Country Club (73-79-78-230; +20). 2007: He recorded three top 15 results in major junior events: he tied for sixth at the Fidelity Investments Junior Championship (66-73-76-215); he tied for 10th at the OSSO Junior at Oak Tree (72-75-147) and tied for 11th at the Las Vegas Founders Junior Championship (70-69-72-211).

Academics-He is majoring in Political Science at Colorado.

Personal-He was born July 18, 1990 in Denver. His hobbies include ice hockey, fishing, skiing and snowboarding. Younger brother, Mike, is a freshman on the golf team at the University of Oklahoma.
