College—This Season (Jr.)—Played in four of CU’s five fall events, averaging 73.82 strokes for 11 rounds; he had to withdraw from the final round in Air Force’s Miranda Invitational due to illness … Best effort came in CU’s own Simpson Invitational, where his 7-under 209 effort (70-69-70—209) is his best 54-hole score in relation to par in his career and his first with all three rounds under par (he played that event as an individual and tied for 24th) … Nine of his 11 rounds counted toward CU’s team score, keeping his career mark above 90 percent (90.8).

2020-21 (Soph.-2): He finished fourth on the team in stroke average with a 73.41 average, despite recording just four subpar rounds and none in the 60s: he had 15 of 22 rounds between 70 and 74, including a team-high five even-par rounds … As a designated scorer in all seven team events, of those 22 rounds, 21 counted toward CU’s team score (95.3 percent) … Top finish came in the Lamkin San Diego Classic where he tied for 23rd (221, +5) … In the Wyoming Cowboy Classic, he recorded his best effort in relation par, tying for 24th with a 2-under 214 effort … Tied for 49th in the Pac-12 Championships at Mayacama Country Club with a 294 (+6) score, closing strong playing the last 36 at 1-under (72-71) … Out of 396 holes, recorded just 10 worse than bogey (66 birdies, 237 pars) … His eight birdies in the first round of The Prestige at PGA West tied for the most in a single round by a Buff for the season (he shot 70 that round).

2019-20 (Soph.): Finished with the second-best stroke average for the season (71.83), with his 71.44 mark in the shortened spring season the top Buffalo number (would rank sixth-best in the spring at CU but nine rounds doesn’t qualify to make the list, but he was on his way to making the list) … His season stroke average does stand as the eighth-best ever … He had 14 rounds of his 23 rounds on the season at or under par (eight sub) … He had all 21 rounds played count toward CU’s team score (two were played as an individual) … He was under par in five of CU’s eight tournaments, including all three in the spring … His top effort came in CU’s own Simpson Invitational, where he turned in a 5-under 211, tying him for 17th … He had a team-best five top 20 finishes, the best a tie for ninth in the Air Force Miranda invite (213, -3) and a tie for 11th in Wyoming’s Desert Intercollegiate (213, -3).  He also tied for 12th in CU’s Les Fowler meet (149, +9) and for 14th I n the Lamkin San Diego Classic (215, -1) … Led the team in rounds of par or better (14), pars (272), in percentage of holes of par or better (82.4 percent) and in the coach’s jumbo stat (.261) … Had the most consecutive holes of par or better on the team (22, over the first and second rounds of the New Mexico Invitational) … He had four eagles on the year, two coming in a pair of events (the CU-Simpson and the Lamkin San Diego) … Had just five holes worse than bogey (out of 414) … Tied the school record set several times previously with two eagles in a single round when he scored a pair in the final round in the Lamkin San Diego Classic … Owned the best first round average on the team (70.63), the third middle round mark (71.29) and the fourth final round figure (73.50, though that was inflated by his only round in the 80s all year – an 81 at the UNM Tucker – otherwise it was a team low 72.43).

2018-19 (Fr.): He was one of four finalists for CU’s Freshman Male Athlete of the Year (won by Evan Battey of men’s basketball) … He enjoyed a fine freshman season, with his 74.06 stroke average fifth on the team and the seventh-best ever at Colorado by a frosh ... That also ranked as the ninth-best among all freshmen in the Pac-12 (21-plus rounds) ... He played in 10 of CU’s 12 tournaments as a team and in two others as an individual (he was a designated scorer in eight the Buff events) … His 36 rounds tied for the eighth--most ever by a Buff freshman ... He played 11 of those rounds as an individual (72.91 avg.), which included his best finish – second in Colorado Mines’ Writz Invitational, where he owned the first day lead and recorded a 70-76—146 (+2) on one of the toughest courses in the Denver area (Bear Creek Golf Club) ... Three of his four top 20 finishes came when he played as an individual; his best as a designated scorer came in CU’s own Simpson Invitational (71-74-73—218, +2) which tied him for 18th) ... The four top 20 efforts were the second-most on the team ... Had the fourth-most birdies (97) on the team, and only two holes worse than double bogey in 648 holes ... Owned a 73.0 average in 12 first rounds, his best number for any round and the second-best on the team... While he has just one round in the 60s (a second round 2-under 68 in the CSU Ram Masters Invitational), he has only two in the 80s; 25 of his rounds have been between 70 and 75 … He played in four of CU’s five major fall tournaments, all as a designated scorer, and a fifth event as an individual … He had 11 of 12 rounds count toward team scoring and averaged 73.67 strokes overall for 15 total rounds … Recorded a pair of top 20 fall finishes, as in addition to his finish in the Simpson, he tied for 15th in CSU’s Ram Masters Invitational (213, +3).

Amateur/Other—2020: He tied for third in the Fort Collins GCAA Amateur with a 72-68-67—207 (-3) effort; he finished one stroke out of the lead and shot the day’s low score in the final round.  2019: Tied for eighth in stroke play qualifying for the Scottish Amateur (62-77—139, +1); he won two matches before being eliminated in the quarterfinals of match play … He tied for fourth in the Dutch Junior Open (69-72-69-70—280, -8) … Finished eighth in the East of Scotland Open (216, E) and tied for 10th in the Tenant Cup (73-72-65-71—281, -3).  2018: Won the prestigious Cameron Corbett Vase tournament in Scotland on July 8 as he turned in a 14-under scorecard of 14-under par 69-70-67-68—274 (won by two strokes) … In the British Amateur, he tied for 40th in the stroke play qualifying (75-71), and won his first round match before falling in the second (2 and 1) … Tied for 11th in the Craigmillar Park Open (65-71-72-70—278; -2) … Advanced to the semifinals of the South African Amateur Championship … A member of the Scotland Men’s National Team, he competed in four in events in South Africa and in the European Boys Team Championships.  2017: Ranked No. 28 in the EuropeanGolfRankings.com … The Scottish Boys Stroke Play Champion, carding a 1-under par 73-71-72-67—283 (he scored two eagles on par-4 holes on the front nine in the final round that spurred him to a two-stroke victory) … He had eight top 10 finishes, including a third place finish in the British Universities Stirling International (75-71-73—219), and coming in second in the prestigious Scottish Boys Order or Merit.

Best Career Round In Competition— 62 (-7; first round, 2019 Scottish Amateur, Crail Golfing Society, Fife, Scotland; July 30, 2019)

Academics—He is majoring in Business (Accounting) at Colorado.  Earned Srixon/Cleveland All-America Scholar honors and was named to the Pac-12 Academic Honor Roll as a sophomore with a 3.51 grade point average.

Personal—He was born on October 28, 1999 in Glasgow, Scotland … His hobbies include playing most other sports, music and movies … He is the first player from Scotland, the birthplace of golf, to be on a Colorado men’s golf roster (his home course is The New Club St. Andrews on the east coast of the country).
