Career at Colorado—Du Pasquier skied for three seasons for the Buffaloes, taking a season off to return home to try out for the Swiss military team. He finished his senior season in 2016 with the Buffs where he capped his senior year in 2016 by skiing for the Buffaloes at the NCAA Championships for the second time.  In all, he completed all 44 of his career races wtih 32 finishes in the top 20 and seven top 10 performances. He was awared the Outstanding Career Award after his senior season.

2016 (Senior)–He was one of three Nordic skiers to compete in all 12 races on the year. He had three top 10 finishes – two in ninth place (one freestyle at the Montana State Invitational and one classical at the Colorado Invitation) and one eighth place finish in classical at the MSU Invitational. He helped CU win the RMISA Championships in Nordic when he finished 17th in freestyle and 16th in classical. He capped his career in 2016 by competing in the NCAA Championships for the second time. 

2014 (Junior)—Du Paqsuier competed in and finished all 12 races up to and including the 2014 NCAA Championships, where he represented the Buffs for the first time in his third season of edibility.  He led the Buffs in three of the first four races of the season before Rune Oedegaard and Mads Stroem rejoined the team.  He had his first career top 10 classical finish at the Montana State Invitational and then bettered that with an eighth place finish at the RMISA Championships.  His top performance in each discipline was at the RMISA Championships, the other being a seventh place freestyle finish there in 2013.  He was the only men’s Nordic skier to compete in all 12 races on the season and in those 12 races, he had 10 top 20 and a pair of top 10 finishes. 

2013 (Sophomore)—Du Paqsuier competed in and finished all 10 races leading up to the NCAA Championships, consistently improving throughout the season and saving his best performance for the RMISA Championships, where he set a personal best finishing seventh in the freestyle race and matched his career best performance of 16th in the classic race, a feat he also accomplished at New Mexico.  He finished in the top 20 six times and top 10 twice, his other top 10 finish coming with a 10th place finish in the freestyle race at the Utah Invitational.  He earned mention on the Division I National All-Academic Team for attaining a 3.5 grade point average and participating in the RMISA Championships.

2012 (Freshman)—Du Paqsuier finished all 10 races leading up to the NCAA Championships, taking home a top 20 finish in half of his races (five).  He began the season with an 18th place finish at the University of Colorado Spencer Nelson Memorial Invitational and then hit a stride midseason with four consecutive top 20s, the first three of which came in Alaska.  He finished 18th and 15th in freestyle races there and also brought home an 18th place finish in the classical race for the Seawolf Invitational.  He then finished 16th in the freestyle race at the RMISA Championships. 

Club—Du Pasquier has skied for the Bermina Ski Club in Pontresina since 2006 and in 2007 also the Engadin Nordic team since 2007.  Since 2010, he has skied for Bundner Skiverband.  Prior to taking part in cross country races, he skied for Ski Valais, an alpine team, from 2004-06.  For Bermina, his top accomplishment was placing first at the Maloja Lauf in 2009.  For Engadin, he was a member of the Engadin Skimarathon top 100 and for Bunder, he placed second at the last race of the Minitour Ftan. 

High School—Du Pasquier graduated from Lyuceium Alpinum Zuoz, a Swiss international boarding school in Zuoz, Switzerland.  He won the Swiss School Championship in the 3K freestyle race in 2011. 

In the Classroom—Du Pasquier is pursuing a double degree in Physics and Mathematics at Colorado.  One reason he chose CU was because of CU’s five Nobel Laureates in the field of Physics.     

Personal—Arnaud Du Pasquier was born October 26, 1992, in Lansanne, Switzerland, to Denis and Claire-Lyse Du Pasquier.  His father was an accomplished alpine skier for the Ski Academy Switzerland and won a gold medal in the downhill race at the 1983 World University Games.  His hobbies include all sports, music, theater and dance.  His two favorite sports teams are the Swiss National Cross Country Team and the CU football team.  Alongside CU’s excellence in physics, he chose to attend CU because of its similarities to Switzerland.
