2019 (Junior)—The men's alpine team captain, Moyer struggled with injuries throughout his junior and final season. In the first eight races of the season, he finished just two. He traveled to Alaska but was unable to participate in both the UAA Invitational and the RMISA Championships. His first finish was in the giant slalom race at the CU Invitational in 32nd place, while he took 29th in the second slalom at the New Mexico Invitational. He was honored with the team's Spencer Nelson Award, given to the skier who overcomes adversity and demonstrates a strong work ethic.Â
2018 (Sophomore)—He started each of the first nine races of the season before missing the RMISA Championships/NCAA Western Regional … Finished six races on the year, his best result a tie for 16th in the slalom at the Denver Invitational held at the Loveland Ski Area.
2017 (Freshman)—He competed in all 12 races through the RMISA Championships, finishing 11 of them ... He had three finishes inside the top 15, with all three of them placing 13th in slalom races ... At his first RMISA Championship, he finished 13th in the slalom ... His two other 13th place finishes came during the alpine slalom qualifier and in the Utah Invitational ... At the Utah Invitational, his second run time of 54.64 was the second-fastest in the field on the second time down the hill ... His top giant slalom finish on the year was 19th at the Utah Invitational.

Prior to CU—Moyer was a member of the Aspen Valley Ski Club from 2002-12, he skied in Norway for Team Skistar from 2012-14 for the two years he lived in that country and from 2014-16 was on a private squad, Team Flo ... In 2015 he finished sixth in the slalom at the Australian National Championships held at Thredbo ... He was ninth in the giant slalom at the Australian-New Zealand Continental Cup held in Perisher, Australia ... In that Australian-New Zealand Cup he finished 11th overall and was the top American, earning a career-best 17.86 FIS points in the giant slalom ... He had a fourth-place showing in the Super G on Jan. 23, 2015 in a FIS Race held in Aspen ... In 2014 skiing in Bjorli, Norway he placed sixth in the giant slalom.
High School—Although he was homeschooled, he did participate on the Aspen High School golf team, helping lead it to State his freshman and sophomore years.
In the Classroom—He is majoring in English at Colorado while also seeking a minor in philosophy.
Personal—He was born July 8, 1994 in Aspen, Colo. … Is the son of Mary and Roger Moyer and has one older sister, Kate ... Father is a contractor and mother is a business owner ... Hobbies include riding his motorcycle, playing Frisbee golf, biking, hiking, live music and anything outdoors ... He one time scored a two on the Aspen Extreme hole playing urban Frisbee golf ... He had 11 surgeries in the previous six years before coming to CU as a freshman in 2016-17 ... Came to CU because the tradition of great Colorado skiers was something he admired ...
