2025 (Sophomore)—She started her sophomore season with a bang, earning her first two career podiums in the first two races of the season, taking third place in back-to-back slalom races at the DU Invitational, one of which was an alpine qualifier race. She finished the season at the NCAA Championships with a 16th place slalom and 12th place GS finish, just missing an All-American honor by a quarter second. She ended the season finishing eight of 14 races and all in the top 16. On top of her two podiums, she had two other top 10s, a ninth in the GS in a qualifier race ahead of the Utah Invitational and 10th in slalom at the UAA Invitational. Honors included CU Academic Student-Athlete of the Month, Laura Sharpe Flood Award, National All-Academic Ski Team and Second-Team All-RMISA.
2024 (Freshman)—She had a solid start to her collegiate career finishing seven of 12 races with six in the top 20 and four in the top 15, two in GS and one in slalom. Her season best in both disciplines was 14th and both happened at the CU Invitational in early February. Honors included National All-Academic Ski Team.
Prior To CU—Campbell skied for the Gregorian Peaks Ski Club from 2014-18 and then the Ontario Ski Team from 2018-23. At Ontario, she was coached by former CU All-American Katie (Hartman) Twible and Cam Stephen, and Heather Metzger for Gregorian Peaks. She has more than 180 FIS starts entering CU and with 115 top 30 performances including 66 top 10 finishes and 24 podium appearances including three race wins. She took part in the 2023 Junior World Championships in Austria and finished 26th in the GS and 25th in the downhill. She has five top 10 finishes at the Canadian National Championships including three top fives, taking fifth place finish in the 2020 downhill race in Panorama, fifth in the slalom and fourth in the Super G in 2023 at Kimberley Ski Resort. She has more than 50 starts on continental cups, mostly the Nor-Am circuit where she has accumulated nine top 10 performances with one podium appearance, a third place at Gregorian Peaks in February 2023 in a giant slalom race.
High School—She graduated from Huntsville High School in Huntsville, Ontario, in 2020.
In the Classroom—She is interested in majoring in Architecture at Colorado. Was an Ontario Scholar, on the principle’s honor roll and graduated Summa Cum Laude from Huntsville High School.
Personal—Her birthday is Nov. 19. Her full name is Ashley Hope Campbell, and her parents are Keely and Bruce Campbell and she has one younger brother, Jack.
