Arman Serebrakian, a 2010 graduate of the University of Colorado, is in his first season as the assistant alpine coach for Colorado.  He is also attaining his graduate degree, which he is on target to receive May of 2011.

Serebrakian skied for the Buffaloes the past four seasons, earning four letters and being named to the Division I National All-Academic Ski Team each of his four years.  To qualify for that award, a skier must maintain a 3.5 grade point average and participate at the RMISA Championships.

He competed in 41 races for the Buffaloes, missing just three regular season races in four years.  He compiled 26 top 20 and four top 10 finishes in his time at CU.  As a senior, he compiled eight top 20 finishes in 10 races and finished between 17th and 24th place nine times.  He closed out his career with two top 20 finishes at the RMISA Championships, helping the Buffs to their 24th league championship.

Born April 9, 1987, in Vallejo, Calif., Serebrakian graduated from Marin Catholic High School in Kentfield, Calif.  He skied for both the Auburn Ski Club and the Squaw Valley Ski Team and he also played water polo and tennis in high school.  He is the son of Armen and Anita Serebrakian and is the older brother to Ani, who is also a ski racer.  He enjoys doing volunteer work and his hobbies include mountain biking, waterskiing, wake surfing and wakeboarding.
