2008 - After an impressive first year for the Buffs, Hillenbrand had trouble finding the top-10 again as a sophomore, but still claimed four top-25 finishes.  Her best meet of the year was the New Mexico Invitational where she took 19th in the GS and 13th in the slalom, which both proved to be season-highs for Hillenbrand.

2007 - Hillenbrand, a late addition to the roster this season, finished fifth in her first collegiate race at the Utah Invitational.  She managed five top-10 finishes and cracked the top-five in three races.  Her best collegiate finish came when she placed second in the giant slalom at the New Mexico Invitational.  Hillenbrand took 10th in the slalom race at the RMISA Championships and qualified for her first NCAA Championships where she placed 18th in the GS and 28th in the slalom race.

High School - Hillenbrand is a 2006 graduate of Steamboat Springs High School.  She skied for four years for the Steamboat Springs Winter Sports Club, and has achieved top five finishes in FIS races during that time.  She also competed in tennis at SSHS, winning the regional.

In the Classroom - Hillenbrand is a double major in communication and studio art at Colorado.

Personal - Heidi Griffith Hillenbrand was born August 25, 1987, and is the daughter of John and Amy Hillenbrand.  She is one of four girls, as she has one older sister, Katie (22), and two younger sisters Holly (18) and Maria (16).  She has spent time volunteering in India and Thailand working with children.
