This Season ?From the first day of practice she’s brought a great attitude to training both on and off the hill. She has worked very hard this fall preparing physically for the season. This year will be a development year for her adjusting to higher level of collegiate competition.”

 

High School ? Fox was a three-time letterwinner in skiing at Edina High School, helping her team to the 2004 and 2005 State Championships. She was the MVP of both those teams, and was a three-time All-State selection from 2003-05.  She spent five years with Team Gilboa and another two with the Buck Hill Ski Club.  She competed at the U.S. Nationals in 2005, and won the junior championship at both the 2004 and 2005 MidAmerica Series.  She was also at J2 Nationals in 2004.

 

In the Classroom ? Fox is planning on majoring in broadcast news at Colorado.

 

Personal ? Leslie Fox was born Sept. 27, 1987 in St. Cloud, Minn.  She is the daughter of Kurt Fox and Lynn Hagedorn, and is the stepdaughter of Charlie Zajicek.  She has two older brothers, Greg Fox (25), and a stepbrother, Charlie Zajicek, who is 19 and a bullrider.  She loves baseball, and enjoys wakeboarding, running and going to baseball games.  Her favorite athlete is David Ortiz.
