At Utah–Nevin skied her freshman season at the University of Utah in 2025, starting all 14 races. She posted 11 top-10 finishes and one podium, a third place in the Montana State 20K freestyle. She finished in the top eight at both races of the Utah Invitational, highlighted by fifth in the 15K freestyle. At the NCAA Championships, she earned first-team All-America honors with a fifth-place finish in the 20K freestyle, while also taking 14th in the 7.5K classic. She was named to the All-RMISA Second Team and the Academic All-Big 12 Rookie Team.
Prior to College—Nevin trained with Byaasen Skiklub in Norway, where she was a consistent contender on the junior circuit. Between 2022–24 she collected 12 top-10 finishes in FIS races across Norway and Sweden and was a regular top-10 performer in Norwegian Cup competitions. She placed 19th in both the 15K classic and 15K freestyle at the 2024 Norwegian National Junior Championships, and earned a top-30 finish in the 10K freestyle at the 2024 Norwegian National Championships. She also finished ninth in the 20K classic race at the US National Championships Her best junior championships result came in 2022, when she finished sixth in the 10K freestyle. She also recorded several regional podiums in Troendelag, Norway. She came to CU with 107.57 FIS distance points.
High School—She graduated from Heimdal Videregaende Skole in Trondheim, Norway, in 2024.
In the Classroom—She is interested in majoring in Business at Colorado. Her dream is to be a rich business woman.
Personal—Her birthday is October 26 and she was born in Trondheim, Norway. Her parents are Anne and Eric Nevin. Her mom was on the CU ski team and graduated in 1996. She has one brother, Sven. Her hobbies include hiking in the mountains. She has dual citizenship with Norway and the United States.
Why Colorado?—”I chose Colorado because I love the mountains and that pretty much every day is sunny.”
