2020 (Senior)—Takki finished 11 of 13 races, including each of the last eight of the season, becoming a consistent team contributor and being rewarded by making the trip to NCAA Championships for the Buffs.  He finished the season with nine top 20 performances in those 11 finishes and had three top 10 finishes. He opened the season with an eighth place finish in the GS qualifier race in Aspen and then took 17th in the GS race and didn’t finish the slalom race as part of the DU Invitational.  In Eldora, he took 11th in the GS race as part of the CU Invitational and didn’t finish the first slalom race, but took seventh in the slalom qualifier there. In Park City, he took 17th in the GS and 24th in the slalom as part of the Utah Invitational and finished 17th in the slalom qualifier.  In Bozeman, he took seventh in the GS qualifier before finishing 15th in both the GS and slalom as part of the RMISA Championships. At the NCAA Championships, he finished 27th in the GS race before the event was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic. He also earned mention on the National Collegiate All-Academic Ski Team for the second straight season.

2019 (Freshman)—Takki had a case of the DNFs early in his freshman campaign, but when he did finish, he finished extremely well.  He took eighth place in the GS race at Eldora in the CU Invitational and followed that up with a fifth place showing in the GS race at the Montana State Invitational.  He broke a streak of four straight races not finished after a DQ in the first slalom race at New Mexico by coming in 23rd in the second slalom race there at Red River and ended his season with a run of four finishes in the last five races, including three of four in Alaska where he posted his best slalom result, taking 17th at the RMISA Championships. He finished six of 12 races with four coming in the top 20, two in the top 10 and one in the top five.  Three of his four top 20s were in GS and both top 10s came in that discipline, as well.  He finished first on the team in the GS race at Montana State and was second three other times, earning his first letter.  He was also named to the National Collegaite All-Acadmic Ski Team.

Prior To CU—Takki has skied at the most elite levels in the world and has one World Cup start, a slalom race in Levi in 2017, and four European Cup starts, all slalom and all at Levi in 2015 and 2017.  He has skied at the Finnish National Championships from 2012-18 and also participated in the 2015 Swedish National Championships and in the Italian and Austrian National Championships in 2018.  In those races, he has compiled seven top 10 finihes with four in the top five including three podiums.  He was the Finnish National Champion in the slalom in 2017, taking second overall, and finished third in the GS at that same championship.  He took second in the GS in the Austrian National Championships at Sankt Johann-Alpendorf.  His first top 5 finish at a National Championship was fifth in the Super Combined in 2015 at Yllas.  He has more than 300 starts in FIS sanctioned races in his career and has finished 120 of those races with 92 in the top 20, 61 in the top 10 and 27 in the top five including 13 podium appearances and one race victory, a slalom race in 2015 at Tahko, Finland.
